This piece was so satisfying and cathartic to work on! A meditation on metamorphosis, I wanted to depict transformation and the juxtaposition of blooming life with equally vibrant decay. Things have been busy as hell here in Lenya-land, with specialty vet trips, breaking beds, 2 year anniversaries and a new job! I’m still finding time to make art, though! There’s a fun tattoo design commission in the works, and I’ve been in a cleaning frenzy that’s unearthed old sketches deserving some attention. So expect to see more activity here soon!
